Ben Cachiaras

Lead Pastor of Mountain Christian Church
Writer

Ben Cachiaras has deep roots in Minnesota, lived in East Tennessee where he finished a Master’s Degree and served a wonderful church, and has called Maryland his home for over 26 years where he is the lead pastor of Mountain Christian Church.
Mountain Christian Church, near Baltimore, is a multi-site, multi-ethnic community known for the way they love their community and make an impact around the world, based on the simple teachings of Jesus which call all to love God, love people, and serve the world. Mountain has experienced unbelievable growth over it’s 199 year history, but nothing in the past compares with the future God has in mind!
Ben serves on the Board of Spire Network, Stadia Church Planting, writes for the Christian Standard magazine, and says what fills his bucket is encouraging other ministers and churches.
Ben and the love of his life, Karla, have three kids. Nathan is in ministry in Tennessee, Andrew writes code in California, and Ellie teaches English as a second language in Baltimore. Larry the Wonderdog provides amusement and companionship.
Ben has an irrational devotion to the Minnesota Vikings, and considers it a good week if he can play pickleball at least three times. He is excited to join us and speak at NPS this year!
